“Quiet haven” for sanctioned elites: super-yachts of Putin and the Kremlin’s inner circle gathered off the coast of Turkey
Several yachts associated with Russian billionaires and members of the Kremlin’s inner circle are simultaneously located off the coast of Bodrum.
The yacht Victoria, registered to Gennady Timchenko’s structures, left Sochi at the end of June and is currently about 84 km from Bodrum. It was previously reported that this vessel is used by Vladimir Putin’s inner circle, including Alina Kabaeva.
Less than a kilometer from Victoria is the yacht Rhea, which is linked to Roman Abramovich. Nearby are also Serenity & Unity, which, according to the US Department of Justice, is used by VTB head Andrei Kostin and Nailya Asker-zade, as well as Genesis, owned by Lukoil owner Vagit Alekperov.
In addition, the yachts Altair of Oleg Deripaska, Romea of Alexander Nesis, and Predator of Iskandar Makhmudov have been spotted in the Bodrum area.
