Tiger Woods faces relationship ultimatum as reports claim Vanessa Trump demands successful rehab or their future together is over

It might be the end of the line for Tiger Woods if he can’t get his act together. As per new reports, Vanessa Trump has stated that if Woods wants to salvage their relationship, he must succeed in his upcoming rehab stint. Several sources close to the couple have indicated that this could be Vanessa’s breaking point.

On March 27, 2026, Woods’s life turned upside down when he flipped his SUV. He was soon arrested for DUI and spent eight hours behind bars. On April 1, 2026, the golf legend finally broke his silence to reveal his plans to “step away and seek treatment.” According to new reports from The Daily Mail, Woods has now found a fitting rehab facility, with a judge permitting him to leave Florida.

A source close to the couple has also told the outlet that Vanessa has issued certain make-or-break rules if Woods wants to be with her. The friend told The Daily Mail, “She had specific criteria. This has to be a real rehab: doctors, counselors. Obviously, there’s a big physical component… These are prescribed drugs for legitimate pain and sleeping issues. This isn’t meth. So this has to be doctor-supervised. It’s pain management gone awry.”

The friend further told the outlet, “But she set a hard line: Fix this, and fix it permanently. She’s not like other girlfriends. She required it, and it was non-negotiable. And he loves her and wants to be with her, so he is willing to do it.”

Due to privacy concerns, Woods is expected to undergo treatment outside of the United States. But one source close to Vanessa told the outlet that it must be a legitimate rehab center, wherever that is. The source noted, “She doesn’t want it to be a b—- country club. She’s not looking to send him off to boot camp, but the rehab has to be tough love. It has to work. Long-term.” The source added, “Vanessa gives one chance for this stuff. This is it. She won’t do this again.”

Another source close to the 15-time major champion explained that Woods has found a facility and will soon start his rehabilitation. It is the second stint he has undergone in the wake of a car crash. The insider noted, “He found a place that can help him. It’s got all the criteria he needs. I won’t get into specifics, but it’s a good thing. He’ll be in good hands.” The source also assured, “And he really does want to get better. He wants to be the best dad, the best boyfriend, the best man. He will be fine.”

The 50-year-old golf pro was charged with misdemeanor DUI with property damage and refusal to submit a lawful test. He reportedly refused to submit a urine sample to authorities. Despite passing a breathalyzer test at the scene of the crash, police said Woods was traveling at “high speeds.” He even “showed signs of impairment” after climbing out of the passenger window of his wrecked car. At the time of the crash, he also admitted to handling his phone.

Meanwhile, Vanessa was waiting for her partner when Woods returned home from the Martin County Public Safety Complex. The couple then had a long night of crunch talks. A source said, “She’s not happy at all. She’s both disappointed and a little bit p—–, if I’m being honest. It’s a definite red flag, and she told him that he’s going to get this sorted out and that she’s going to require that. He has to get things under control, or she’s not going to stick around.”
