Paris Hilton was pressured to meet Epstein
Actress and model Paris Hilton has confirmed that Ghislaine Maxwell tried to pressure her into meeting Jeffrey Epstein.
Hilton revealed this in a recent interview with The Times, commenting on statements by composer Christopher Mason, who said Maxwell had “set her sights” on the then-young Hilton in an attempt to recruit her for Epstein.
When and where this happened is unknown. Hilton was photographed with Maxwell and current U.S. President Donald Trump at the Anand Jon fashion show in New York on September 18, 2000.
“I don’t even remember us ever meeting. I have a name that people use for clickbait,” the actress noted.
In the 2020 documentary series Surviving Jeffrey Epstein, Mason claimed that his friend was with Maxwell at a party and that they were “prowling” the city looking for “young girls to go on dates with Jeffrey”.
“Ghislaine shouted: ‘Oh my God, who is that?’ when she saw this cute, young, almost teenage girl. And she asked: ‘Do you know her?’ My friend replied: ‘Yes, her name is Paris Hilton.’ And Ghislaine said: ‘My God, she would be perfect for Jeffrey. Could you introduce us?’” the series recounts.
Mason added that even at the time “it seemed a bit inappropriate”.
Five years after Hilton was photographed with Maxwell and Trump, a criminal investigation into Epstein began, accusing him of sexually abusing underage girls.
In 2008, Epstein struck a plea deal and admitted guilt to charges of soliciting and exploiting minors for prostitution. He spent 13 months in jail.
The Epstein case was closed three weeks after he committed suicide. Despite this, questions remain — including those about his criminal past and what has been uncovered during years of investigation.
